Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of management leadership patterns (autocratic, democratic, free) in the burnout of employees. It focuses on a sample of employees of the municipalities of Bouchegouf. For this, a questionnaire was developed which includes 32 items. The questionnaire was intended for 120 employees, and we retrieved 90 questionnaires, but only 75 questionnaires were validated for the study. Using SPSS packages to analyze the data, we found that democratic leadership is the prevalent pattern in the studied Bouchegouf municipalities with a moderate sense of burnout for their employees. Statically, results show that there is a positive significant relationship between the autocratic pattern and the level of employee’ burnout. The results show that there is a negative effect of the democratic pattern on the employees' burnout which has no relationship with the third pattern (free). We notice also the existence of significant differences at 0.05 related to only the employees' experience.
